With every purchase, we include a copy of the “Natural Methylglyoxal Content Analysis Report” measured by ALS Food and Environmental NZ., along with its Japanese translation. The testing agency we actually use, “ALS Food and Environmental NZ.,” is a highly trusted, impartial testing institution, officially recognized by New Zealand’s Ministry for Primary Industries (formerly the Ministry of Agriculture). Regarding the MGO value of our products, the MGO analysis report included with each product provides the most accurate value. ① Items to Prepare
- Sample (your unused Manuka honey): Please note that the sample will be discarded after testing.
- About 80ml of food-safe container/pot.
- Three types of documents: Download these from the ALS Food and Environmental NZ. website.
- Cardboard box: Approximately 20×20×20cm.
- Shipping label: Available at the post office.
- Packing tape, label stickers.
- Two transparent freezer bags (A4 size).
- Foreign remittance fee and testing fee.

② How to Complete the Documents
Download the three required documents from the ALS Food and Environmental NZ. website and print them out.

Document 1: Honey Testing Request Form
After filling out the necessary fields, this form will be included with the sample (Manuka honey) when sending it for testing

Document 2: Customs Declaration Form
After completing the form, it should be attached to the outside of the package along with the shipping label.

After completing this form, it should be attached to the outside of the package along with the shipping label.

③ Packaging Method
1 : Food Container
Place approximately 60-70 grams of Manuka honey into a food container (a glass jar, such as those used for jam, is also acceptable) and secure the lid tightly.
2 : Batch Number
Write the batch number (e.g., Sample:1) in alphanumeric characters on the label and attach it to the food container. The batch number should also be recorded in item 【10】 of Document 1. For increased accuracy, it is recommended to use unused Manuka honey and not to include the manufacturer’s name on the sample label.
3 : Freezer Bag
Place the sample (Manuka honey) in a freezer bag or similar. Ensure that the container lid is tightly secured.
4 : Cardboard Box
Place the sample and Document 1 into the cardboard box and seal it with packing tape.
5 : Packing
Attach Documents 2 and 3 to the outside of the closed cardboard box, ensuring they are visible. If the documents do not fit on the outer surface of a small box, you may fold them in half.
6 : Shipping
Fill out the shipping label with the address of ALS Food and Environmental NZ. and send the package to New Zealand via a shipping carrier (such as Japan Post).

④ About Test Results
The test results will be sent to your specified email address.
Please ensure that you provide the correct email address.
The emails you will receive from the testing laboratory are as follows

●Arrival Report of Test Results
●Invoice
If you request, ALS Food and Environmental NZ. can also mail the original test results. For payment, please use international transfer at your nearest financial institution. Note that international transfers incur a fee of approximately ¥10,000. The charge from ALS Food and Environmental NZ. is ¥5,000 per sample.
